April 12th was my birthday and this is where I spent most of my day adventuring too. The road conditions are horrible and we couldn’t get in easily at all. As you can see water levels are high, the highest I’ve ever seen them at this location. Everything was wet and slippery and after this snow fall in sure it would be even worse to try and navigate. For these reason I have temporarily taken the trail/location out of the app so that I can update it and post it once things become a bit safer and road access is fixed. It had been a while since I’d been out to Wolf River Falls and I noticed a lot of logging and cutting happening in this area, just something to be aware of and to take extra precautions when driving.
I’ll keep posting waterfall photos instead of acknowledging this snow fall, in hopes that it will go away so that I can continue chasing waterfalls comfortably.
Regardless of the conditions I had an amazing time visiting this waterfall and my entire day was filled with so much love and kindness. I am forever grateful to the friends who were able to make this birthday so special despite another Covid celebration in lockdown.
